Description
Rebuild a scientist's shattered memory through mathematical proofs — and decide what a perfect reconstruction is really worth.
Axiom Of Echoes: Proof Refactor is a narrative puzzle game in which mathematics is not the obstacle but the language of the story. As a technician for the Lethe Systems corporation, you are sent into the archived mind of Dr. Elena Vance to extract the code of her atmospheric filter — a technology that could save the world. The archive is damaged. To reach the code, you must reconstruct it: shape by shape, proof by proof.
Each of the 64 levels asks you to rebuild a reference shape by composing programmable logic blocks — conditions, axes, symmetries, volumes — first on a 2D grid, then across three chapters of full 3D space. Every correct solution restores a fragment of Elena's life: her childhood, her father's disappearance, her research, her doubts. And every solution also brings Lethe Systems one step closer to owning what she made.
The result is a quiet, melancholic science-fiction mystery where intellectual satisfaction and emotional weight share the same mechanic — and where, by the final chapter, how you solve a puzzle matters as much as whether you solve it.
History
Axiom Of Echoes is a solo project, built natively for the Mac. It began as an experiment: could block-based logic — the kind used to teach programming — carry a story for adults? The answer grew into a four-chapter narrative in which geometric reconstruction and memory reconstruction became the same act. The game was developed natively for Apple platforms and releases on July 16, 2026. An iPad version with a touch-first workspace is in development.
Features
- Build shapes by proving them — visual programming with composable logic blocks.
- 64 handcrafted levels across 4 chapters: Chapter 1 in 2D, Chapters 2–4 in full 3D.
- Every solved proof reconstructs a fragment of Dr. Elena Vance's memory.
- A story with real stakes: your success is never entirely clean, and the final chapter reacts to how you solve, not just what you solve.
- Native on macOS — an iPad version with a touch-first workspace is in development.
- Fully localized into 12 languages.
- A quiet, precise, melancholic sci-fi atmosphere — terminal logs, memory fragments, and a cold corporate frame around an intimate human story.

Why it might interest your readers
- Math as a narrative medium. Puzzle games often treat story as a frame around the mechanics. Here the mechanic is the story: reconstructing a proof and reconstructing a person are the same action, and the game commits to that idea for all four chapters.
- Built for the Mac first. A native Apple-platforms release — not a port. Relevant for readers who follow the growing Mac gaming catalogue, with an iPad version in development.
- An ending shaped by method, not menu. The final chapter's routes are tied to how puzzles are solved, which gives reviewers something concrete to discuss beyond difficulty and playtime.

Boilerplate
Axiom Of Echoes: Proof Refactor is a narrative puzzle game for the Mac. As a technician for the Lethe Systems corporation, you reconstruct the damaged memory archive of Dr. Elena Vance by rebuilding impossible shapes with programmable logic blocks. Every solved proof restores a fragment of her life — and brings the corporation one step closer to a technology that could save the world, or be taken from her entirely.
